LOST FREQUENCIES
"Lost frequencies" is a sound art composition which takes part of the initiative project called "Bye Bye FM".
When a few years ago, a political announcement promised the end to come for little and free radio stations in France due to the passage on numerical stage.
The first step of this soundwork is based on recordings from french radio station AM and FM by 3 artists of the collective H.A.K. (Ayato, Denis Mac Carty and Anton Mobin).
All radio sources were collected in a common sound bank, and then in a kind of delicious corpse, Denis Mac Carty and Anton Mobin have composed several short sequences one after the other to assembly this 24 minutes composition.
Working in alternation by emails, this piece was finished in January 2010 with a first diffusion at NK in Berlin.
