4160_TRIENNALE D'ART CONTEMPORAIN DE VENDÔME -23 MAI >30 OCTOBRE 2015

Résolument art contemporain, la Triennale de Vendôme (1ère édition) présente, du 23 mai au 31 octobre 2015, un panorama de la création en région Centre-Val de Loire. 25 projets - sculptures, installations, vidéos, photographies, peintures, dessins…, le film-installation de Malik Nejmi "4160" monté a la Villa Medici y est présenté au manège Rochambeau.
Ouvert à tous les publics, la Triennale de Vendôme constitue l'un des rendez-vous culturels 2015 de l'art contemporain. Entrée libre.

The figure of the african street vendor is for me, central to the collective and popular representation of our contemporary world. I admire the courage of these young Senegalese vendors, their way of life and their careers are in the image of the trial they live.
Italy is following the assassination of Samb Modou and Mor Diop in Florence in December 2011 (the murderer belonged to Casapound fascist party), I started to approach Senegalese street vendors of the Florentine city. Following a year of commemorations, I attended a mosque in a very moving collective prayer in memory of "those who where dead". In talking with my friend Souleymane, the brother of one of the victims I realized that this prayer was not relieved families and they expected this year, two years later, to pray their dead as they should in Senegal: all men read the Koran together by sharing traditional offerings.
The title refers to a poem Birago Diop "The dead are not dead," which was regularly utlise speech in 2011 by Mr Pape Diaw, then head of the Senegalese community of Tuscany, to calm the youth during the riots nights that followed this terrible murder ... In a moment of collective struggle and pure memory, the film (a remounting sequence) tries to show the challenges between religion and politics in the Italian Senegalese community. This is a single time when families were allowed to leave this film particularly moving moment in view of the protagonists suffered by racist events. For most, this prayer turn them to real transition, to the concept of "forgiveness" and tgives us the exemplary value of integration behaviors while giving measure of anxiety that sprang from this community. Again, this film is showing us the political fight of black community inItaly actually.
"This is a moment of pure memory. Variations in voice Mr Idy Diene (brother victim) singing suras, when it collapses, where it supports the gradual arrival of men passing throughthe fixed field of the camera, the gradual rise of the reading of the Koran several voices (thirty) and the slow descent to the last word, then, silence, sharing gifts
and discussion with the marabout in the room, the answers to the marabout hearts of men ... all a rhythm independent film, a film whose length is dictated solely by the need to support the players, bring them to the end. Leaving one by one the small mosque illegal, people thanking us the way.
The group was also giving the image of a huge raft in the middle of trial. Today the video runs in families returned home between Dakar and Florence, I like the idea that the film accompanies life in all these tests. Today it is both a valuable document for the history of Senegalese in Europe, and a film that has nothing to do with contemporary art but how traditional devices of museum demonstration of cinema and languages of the reel." H.A.K. Lo-Fi Record vient squatter le 102 et faire vibrer la bâtisse de long en large. Suite à quatre jours de résidence il nous propose son Grand Orchestre Bruitiste, le Big Easy Crazy, où sept musiciens, alliant électronique et acoustique, développent des codes et établissent des formes par la mise en place de règles de jeu, de contraintes et d’options aléatoires pour jouer ensemble. Après deux propositions basées sur le tirage au sort des interventions et la direction des musiciens par un éclairagiste chef d’orchestre (à Oullins en 2007 & Chartres en 2008), cette troisième résidence est plus exclusivement centrée sur la musique en intégrant un ingénieur du son au coeur du projet. H.A.K. Lo-Fi Record est un collectif à géométrie variable qui réunit plus de 80 artistes internationaux, de formations et de pratiques diverses. Leurs horizons différents ont pour intérêt commun les notions de son et d’espace. images issues de films d’exploration spatiale russe des années 50/60 accompagnées par Der Kommissar, Extrasystole, Sarah Mönn, Carlos Groënland, Ayato & Anton Mobin.

« Les Américains ont marché les premiers sur la Lune et anéanti les espoirs socialistes d’une Union Soviétique du Cosmos. Pire, ils ont aussi gagné la guerre des images, en récupérant, pillant et rachetant pour une poignée de kopecks les droits des films russes. Qui connaît Pavel Klushantsev, ses trucages et ses plans réalisés dix ans avant « 2001, L’odyssée de l’espace » ? Qui n’a pas tremblé d’effroi devant « Alien », mais qui a vu ce film au nom imprononçable de « Mechte Navstrechu » ?

Le collectif H.A.K. propose 60 minutes d’images anthologiques tournées en Union Soviétique. Illustrant des classiques tels que le fantastique film de Klushantsev « En route pour les étoiles », ou les visions délirantes de « Mars » et de « Luna », le collectif H.A.K. posera sa bande son bruitiste sur ces « space operas. »

Mettre en relation deux écritures : celle par la lumière et celle par l'onde acoustique.Le son ne commente pas l'image et n'en est pas non plus la part audible. Pourtant, cette inter- relation oblige à une reconstruction, une reconsidération, une dérive du regard et de l'écoute.

El Maghreb



Ayato(Fr) musicien et poly-instrumentiste (guitares, turntables, percussions...) construit El Maghreb avec les prises de son de Malik Nejmi (photographe) réalisaient en 2005 au Maroc et son propre matériel sonore. À l'origine présenté comme la bande son de l'exposition de photo de Malik et avec les dessins d'AbdelKader Benchamma. Entre Field Recording et montage sonore El Maghreb est un voyage où la fiction traverse la réalité.
